Friends of Johnny
I just love meeting people and am delighted when they come up and say hello. I seem to be making new friend all the time, whether I’m out on my safaris, in the market selling my DVD’s and prints, doing talks, at various events or just round and about here in North Devon.
People often send me photos they’ve taken with me and I thought it would be nice to put some of these on my website. So, if you fancy having your photo displayed then go to the ‘Me and Johnny’ page and click on the upload link. I look forward to seeing your shots.
Then, of course, I have my old friends that I’ve known for years and years. There’s some real characters amongst them. Some of them you’ll have met in my books, DVD’s and new audio book but there are many others I have yet to introduce you to.
That’s why I’ve decided to have a ‘Local Friends’ page. The first person I'd like you to meet is Hope Bourne, the amazing 'Lady of Exmoor'. Sadly Hope passed away in August 2011 but I really want to tell you something about her. Once in a while I'll introduce you to another of my friends and will announce it on the home page to let you know there's someone new for you to meet.
