Explores Johnny Kingdom's home of Bishops Nympton and the wildlife that lives around him. Hours of skilful filming have produced this lovely video of some of our secret animals like the Shrew, Woodmouse and Field Vole. Badgers, Foxes and their cubs, and stoats hunting and bringing back prey are also filmed, along with birds like the Great Spotted Woodpecker feeding their young, Nuthatch and Long Tailed Tits, and Goldfinches. Beautiful shots of the Red Deer of Exmoor in their summer velvet and magnificant footage of stags roaring in the rutting season are captured while Bambi, Johnny's tame deer, is not forgotten.
