Take a safari

I have been leading safaris around Exmoor for a number of years now and am constantly asked whether I still take people out to see the deer and other wildlife.  The answer is yes!  And this year I have an even wider range of dates available.

I so enjoy taking visitors to some of my special places on Exmoor.  We have lots of fun, see some wonderful sights and, of course, I get to meet some of you lovely people.  Do come and join me soon.

The safaris involve a tour around Exmoor of around 4 hours, stopping to see the wildlife on the way. Generally no walking is involved except for getting in and out of the vehicle at various places, i.e. to look at deer, so the safaris are suitable for everyone.  Prices are £90 plus VAT at 20% (£108).

Your safari will start at 8.00am and end at 12.00 noon.   A maximum of 8 people can join each safari so we are always a small, intimate group.  During the red deer rutting season in October we put on extra tours due to increased demand. (Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.)

Please note that the essential purpose of my safaris is to educate, and hopefully entertain, participants and that I do not operate a private hire vehicle service.

Booking

If you would like to make a booking, please take a look at the information below and then select your date.  We accept all major credit cards through our secure payment system Paypal.  It would be a great help to us if you would include your phone number when booking. Thank you.

Safari participants will receive a voucher for the date and time requested and these are normally posted out within a week of booking.  All major credit/debit cards are accepted through Paypal (NO Paypal account is needed to book).  Cheques may also be acceptable on request.

Cancellations: We do understand that circumstances occasionally lead to cancelled bookings and if the cancellation is made a month or more prior to the safari date, we will refund the full amount minus a 20% administration charge.

For safaris cancelled within a month of departure we regret that we are unable to offer a refund. Thank you for your understanding and we do hope you enjoy your safari.

Late arrivals: Please note that if you are late arriving on the day, or get lost on the way, we will only be able to hold the safari for 10-15 minutes. After this time we will have to leave without you. In this situation your safari would be non-refundable.

Please be aware the safaris will drive across Exmoor and will not be visiting Johnny's land.
